Thanks Guys, exactly why I decided to join this group. I've looked at other sites on google, but, they didn't seem as serious or real. I get a good feeling from all of you. I know you all started at the same place I am now, and you had to make a decision. For some it was hard and for others it was as easy as opening the door and walking out. I'm continuing to read different posts and am getting alot of good vibes. Yes, I'll let you know when I make the final decision. I know it has to be done. Thanks.

Like they say, you've got nothing to loose except for the rug. Good luck!

Here, here!
Welcome Johnnyo! Like PDXTodd said, dump the rug, shave it and then start to really enjoy like as it was meant to be enjoyed- free of the "sort of hair" look. Life is too short to mess around with maybe, later, sometime. Go for it, dude!

Thanks Arnie, I've been more than welcome by all of you. I consider all of you one body so a good welcome from one is equally a welcome by all. I know that there are alot of other guys like me that are coming to this site for information and support. I was on one other site that guys would ask where to go for support information, I referred them to this site. As I didn't know their names, I don't know if they came over, but, everytime I see a newby that has made the right choice, I imagine that they are the ones I told to check us out. It's good to feel the freedom of not having to mess with the guilt of having to hide the fact that I was wearing a rug and thinking I was fooling everyone - huh! I was only fooling myself. For those lurkers, get rid of the charade and come clean, you'll really feel liberated.
Sorry, I get carried away bc I feel so good. Carry on...

Look matey, you are what you are!! A bald head is something to be proud of.....please don't cover up....... many of us have been through this but to walk outside and feel the sun on your head is a great feeling and shaving your head is sooo liberating.....i worried once and you know what......nobody cares and only fools judge!!

Tha :XXnks SlyBritGuy, yes, I did the deed and am really enjoying it. I feel free, I don't have to worry about going out on a windy day, or self concience at the movies with someone sitting behind me staring at the back of my head. I think the thing I used to worry most about was if someone sat behind me and had a small child and that small child would pull that stupid rug off boy can you imagine?

A late Welcome johnnyo, it sounds like you're very happy with you're decision, and enjoying a new found freedom too. That's what sly is all about.

Thanks, Xnewtawka, it's always good to hear from a fellow Sly guy. Yes, I really feel good. I wish other guys who are just thinking of doing the deed would just try it once, I'm sure they would like it and would feel free.

Welcome johnnyo!

Stick to shaving for at least 30 days... trust us, you need to go that long before making any decisions not to shave.
Maybe it'll encourage you to know, there's a lot of us who could grow a head of hair but find being Sly so much better that we're bald by choice!
