I am going to the salon and getting a haircut on Tuesday
However I think I am going to ditch my usual #1 buzzcut all over and get either a #0 all over, or a #000 all over. I am pretty excited, yet very nervous. I am worried what my classmates will think, mainly the girls. Hopefully there will be pleanty of headrubs though

That's great!
As far as classmates, girls, etc. as concerned -- this will separate the shallow from the non-shallow.
The only problem I have with the whole thing is that you are going to the "salon". That's like going to the mechanic to put gas in your car. Buy some clippers. They probably cost as much as the salon trip. Plus the buzz cut is your stylist worst nightmare.
And you can make your money back by charging your friends to do theirs.

Salons don't do good buzzcuts. If you don't do it yourself, go to a real barbershop. It will be cheaper than the salon and they'll do a better job.
this is true...even tho i had my own clippers...when i was feeling lazy i would go to a supercuts and they would never get it as close as i could with the clippers....but then again u could just go full sly and call it a day too
I had been clipping my hair pre-Sly for a couple years now and yeah the purchase pays for itself and rather quickly.
You don't need anything fancy. Grab the one that looks like it'll do the job and get to work.
I have a cheap Vidal Sassoon set that I bought at Target for $17.99. They've worked fine for about 6 years now....certainly they do pay for themselves.
If you plan on shaving your head alot in the future itd be cheaper to get some clippers and a razor. Currently I don't have a clippers though so I was using a trimming scissors to cut it down and than a razor to do the rest.
