Bumps and lumps due to stress?
« on: May 08, 2010, 09:19:07 AM »
Hi guys, I recently shaved my head and was happy with the overall shape of my head. However, I have noticed quite a few bumps and lumps, mostly on the right side of my head. I'm pretty sure they are not due to my skull as they have a softer feel to them. Is it possible that this is due to stress? Maybe the scalp muscles have been tight for such a long time that they create these small knots?

I know that when I'm stressed out, this is typically the part of my body where I physically feel the effects: tingling, numbness. It's nothing severe, and I don't really care too much, but I want to know if this is some phenomenon you guys know about.

I guess if its the result of a tense scalp, it could help to massage right?
