Clothes can enhance a certain look but I'm with Ryan, it's about your presentation.  Dressing up like something you're not is for posers!

I agree.  And I haven't really changed what I wear around the house or around town or at work.  But I think if somebody dresses in a certain way and has a shaved head, people might peg them as a skinhead, or hoodlum, or whatever.  Just like they might assume somebody with a certain hairstyle and certain clothes is something else... hair or no hair, people make quick judgments, it's human nature... threat assessment, a survival skill.

But I also think that if you don't have hair to distract people, then their eyes are drawn more to other parts of you, like your face, body, and clothes, so they might pay more attention to what you're wearing than they otherwise would.  I know that I'm scrutinizing myself more... I've suddenly noticed that a lot of my suits for work don't really fit me too well... gonna make a trip to the tailor soon!

p.s hairtoday - you should change your screen name to hairyesteryear!! and i think you rock the sly look.. do yourself a favour and get in the sunlight and take a pic..  you'll be pleasantly suprised!!

Yeah, I sort of thought my original name was dumb but didn't think I could change it... I'll have to think of something clever.  And yeah, I should take a better pic... I'll be outside tomorrow BBQ'ing with some friends after work and getting a tan, I'll snap one then!

i think clothing says a lot about the person. The way one carries himself is related to clothing. Lets be honest, certain clothing is going to provoke different responses. Ones clothing has to do with his/her presentation. I don't think anyone implied they were dressing like something they're not, or 'posing' they are just wanting to take pride in their presentation. is all 8)

Welcome to the site.  O0
The reason people find it so hard to be happy is that they always see the Past better than it was,
the Present worse than it is & the future less resolved than it will be.
