I predict that the Cubbies will not fail to disappoint.....again.

Red Sox fan here since 1968. My optimism this year is not real high.

While we were thrilled by last year's Yankees, Ill make a wild prediction and go with Boston v Philly. A lot of people think the White Sox will win it all. Have no idea why.

The white sox are looking good this year.  Hopefully we have a good offensive season because our pitching is solid.

Even though I reside in Yankee territory, as a Brooklyn ex-patriot
my loyalty is to the Dodgers!

Joe Torre & Co. are a class act all the way.

St. Louis Cardinals.
A good team this year, probably the best in the National league, and for sure in the division.
I just bought two tickets, in the Champions Club on line, for the Cardinal / Diamond Backs game June 30.
We should have a pretty good feel for how the season will go by then.   And who am I to pass up an ESAVER price on an indoor air-conditioned club area. an all inclusive all-you-can-eat buffet and full service bar.
A beautiful stadium too,  if you haven't been there.
Guess I better take my kid, we haven't been to a Cardinal game in St. Louis since about 1980.  Bout time to go to one with the kid, Kid age is 42

Well, round these parts, the Chicago Cubs are the team to beat almost every year.
Might as well just give them the pennant and go home.
But then some one says "lets just play the 162 game schedules anyway, just for the fun of it".
Funny, thing, those Cubs never seem to be there at the end.

Well you can't really blame the Cubbies. It's hard to catch the ball when you have both hands around your own throat.

Thank You for that one.  I can tell you, that one is going to come in handy over the next few days, weeks, months, AND years down at the red neck bar here in Cubbie land.
Thanks, You have made my day.
