I usually BURN so easily in the summer months that I practically hadda' give up the t-shirts and shorts wardrobe for something a little more conventional....

You take it to the extreme, I'm not a big fan of sun screen and the highest I go is Spf 15 all because anything higher kills a majority of vitamin D absorbtion.

I always use SPF 15 and re-apply about once an hour.
Personally, I like HeadBlade's HeadShade sunscreen...

For a GREAT hat, you should look up Tilley Hats (http://www.tilley.com/hat_category.asp?catId=1)
They last a lifetime, will never wear out or they will replace it...
