i used to be a Charlotte Hornets fan i use to go to all their games back in the day in middle school and high school my mom use to get season tickets from a guy she worked with who hated basketball........ but yea i got to see Jordan,Malone,Shaq,Kobe,Iverson,Carter,Mcgrady, all them dudes lol... but ever since Charlotte moved to New Orleans its never been the same for me
... Also when Jordan won the bulls last championship back in 97 against the Jazz i dont think basketball has really had any "break out" stars i mean yea theres Iverson Shaq and Carter and another few but very few have had the Impact on the game like players such as Bird,Jordan, and Magic... basketball has just changed for me and i hate it
first off you still have a team in charlotte. theyre just the Charlotte Bobcats now and not the hornets. also.......how can you possibly say there arent any good players in the NBA anymore!?!? Lebron james, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, etc.

It's easy to look back and marvel at how the game has changed due to players like Jordan. But after Lebron's career, I think we'll be doing the same thing.

Always been a Laker fan from the late 70's to early 80's. Was a hugh Showtime fan when they had Magic, Kareem, Worthy, Jamaal Wilkes, Norm Nixon, Byron Scott, Kurt Rambis, and Coach Pat Riley. STill follow them today - just not as much - maybe it's called growing up and having other responsibilities. I try to catch the highlights on Sports Center.

I really don't have a favorite since Jordan retired from the Bulls...but still enjoy watching them try now, plus the Orlando Magic, Boston Celtics, and Milwaukee Bucks...

Gotta love watchin the Celtics whip up on the Cavs! Let's see how their fan base holds up when Lebron leaves. Now if we can make it to the finals and do the same to the Black Mamba, I will be a happy camper. I was all about the NBA growing up. Dr. J,Dominique Wilkins, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Micheal Jordan, etc. Then it went to pot. It wasn't fun to watch. But since the Celtics traded for KG my 9 year old is a fanatic and I have watched a whole lot more. I like it better than college now. College is too guard oriented. I think Tim Duncan, Steve Nash and Dwight Howard are my favorites to watch play

Even though I was born and raised in Chicago my favorite team since I was a kid has been the Boston Celtics. I tried to play like Bill Russell when I was young: defensive specialist/shot blocker/rebounder. I always had great admiration for that team with Havlicek & Co. when they used to whip Wilt and the Lakers in the finals and send Jerry West to the locker room bitchin' about all the "bad calls".
However, I have not watched an NBA game since the strike during the Bulls' string. I heard one too many of the spoiled crybabies complain about their "working conditions". I don't anticipate watching them anytime soon.
