Well guys I know there are a bunch of members with motorcycles. Laid my bike down coming to a stop light in the city . Hit a oil slick and before I knew what happened the shiny side wasn't up anymore. Good news just bruised my elbow. There must have been an accidently recently as there were motor parts and broken glass. Luckily not from my bike. I was fearing the worst but only cracked the running light which is cheap honda plastic and didn't notice a mark otherwise. Looked at it about 10 times today looking for damage and pretty amazed I can't find any.

. Gas poured out of the tank but got that cleaned up pretty quickly. Keep your eyes and ears open friends I consider myself a pretty safe driver but it only takes an instant.

Thanks for the replies guys. Looked closer and didn't break the blinker just scratched it. As for the bike I"m glad it is okay it is valuable to me and has alot of sentimental value.

Unfortunately... it's part of riding for many of us. I've been very fortunate.

Glad you are okay and very glad that your bike is not too bad off

My dad always used to say that you aren't a real biker until you have put one on its side.

Like the old saying goes there are two types of bikers those who have been down and those who are going down. Although I don't consider myself a biker just a guy who likes motorcycles.

Been there twice once in rain and another time sand on road. Both times slightly bruised went down at slow speed.
