No one said anything, but then...

The first time I saw my family after I shaved my hair off, no one really said anything about it.  Next visit, my brother had cut his hair off.  I took that as a compliment.  All of my female friends love it - they all told me nothing is worse than a guy pretending he isn't bald...

That is a great point -- "nothing worse than a guy pretending that he isn't bald".   We've all been there.   You reinforced the fact that we all build up shaving our head as a big deal and love it that your family didn't really say anything.
