• It shows less when your head is "tan" ...or when you are black. ACtually being black and bald is not a big deal lol

• When the dome is really shiny the shadow is also less notable.

• Lighting plays a big factor as well.  I've seen photographs of myself where I appear to have no shadow and others where it is quite prominent.

• The "shinny cream" is different than the creme you put on your head after you just shaved? so you would to put a cream after, then after you put another cream to "shine"!?
