I said it, if anything that exists on this planet that is consumed is the root of all evil, it's In-n-out. As of last week I've been running rampant, real estate brokers at the house, thanksgiving and working pretty much had me on the run and when I'm on the run I maintain my discipline in regards to what I consume, I usually have about 2-3 apples 1-2 bannas, lean meats and nuts when on the go. I do this because I'm borderline hypoglycemic and I sustain more energy throughout the day when I do this and not to mention my consumption of water, But yesterday I said F it and when to In-n-out and well Got two Double Doubles, two orders of fries one of them being Animal Style and a vanilla shake.......pure evil goodness.

We go about once a month...actually went tonight and it was packed...probably all of the people trying to avoid any contact with turkey or leftovers! We have four in our town.

Hey Schro, ever been to "Top dog" in Berkeley or in Oakland ? I freakin love that place  :@`

Yeah, a long time ago. When I was growing up and wanted a tasty dog, I went to "The Pampered Pup" in Alameda at the Corner of Central Ave. and Park Street. That was good.

As far as burgers go, Nation's in the Bay Area was always my favorite. Nowadays, I prefer grilling my own burgers.

Agonizing over what cannot be is an insult to what is.

Well we do not have any of those fancy chain burger joints around here...but we do have THE WHITE STEAMER!

An exhaust fan at the New White Steamer blows the scent of hamburgers along Main Street as daylight breaks in Washington, Ind

They have the grill right in the front window and everyday you smell the fresh onions and the burgers grilling. What makes it bad for me as well is..it is just 3 blocks down from my work, I am down wind..lol   I guess we can call this place and IN-n-Out because, well , they say they come out as quick as they go in.   They must be doing something right..because they are celebrating 100 years!  GO WHITE STEAMER!

I did an In and Out when I was in Reno when my Father was dying around the time I was going Sly.  It was okay, but I don't know why everyone is so excited about the place.  It was very much a fast food thing, not like a hamburger made by hand, thick, cooked on a open wood burning flame, medium with the trimmings all fresh on a bun that's really bread and doesn't turn to goo in your mouth--I'm thinking Port O Call here--that's a hamburger.
