Being hydrated is one of the most important things you can do for your body. i have been a hydration freak for years.
If you feel thirsty, that means you are already a little dehydrated. Also if you are trying to lose weight.... hydration is a key component.

I drink almost no soda..... I do like a cup or two of coffee or hot tea a day..... but I drink water 90% of the time.

Nice going, Mike.....

Yeah, I was doing an alkalizing program that recommended 8 LITERS A DAMN DAY with organic greens (powder) added.  They did recommend working up to that.   I hit it a few times but default now to a minimum of 96 oz when I drop the ball.  Try to get in 3,  48 oz. containers per day.   Actully gives me energy...greens are positively charged ionic for a literal electrical energy.

I'm good for a gallon or so a day. I probably average a little more in the warm weather and a little less in the cold.
.....the quiet brightness of the city disconcerts. Somewhere malfeasance percolates. There is work to be done.

Tyler, some of the latest reports that I have seen said for the average person  8 glasses a day is a myth and not backed up with proof. Of course if your into heavy exercise then let your thirst be your guide. This has worked for generations why not now.

I've read reports that say it's a myth also, but I can tell you that when I drink 8 or more glasses I have much more energy in the day.  Also, it's what all 3 of my doctors have recommended and they all said 1/2 your body weight in ounces.
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

If I remember to bring my 24 oz. water bottle to work I'll usually drink 3-4 of them. I usually drink them down pretty fast. Never been much of a sipper when it comes to drinking.
Life has three aspects: Paradox, Humor, and Change.

Paradox: Life is a mystery; don't waste time figuring it out.
Humor: Keep a sense of humor, especially about yourself. It is a strength beyond all measure
Change: Know that nothing stays the same.
