Hey Tom, sorry to point this out.     A thread on this was made a while ago.

But great that you kept up the spirit of it.  O0
I think it's really nice to know why our sly brothers chose their screen names.
I remember at first I looked at a few and thought man did this guy randomly type
in letters from his keyboard or what?  ;D

I was thinking of a superhero who fights all the evil hairstyles (you know what I mean) with the pure baldness of his shiny chrome dome.

Well, at the firehouse, lasagna has always been sort of a specialty of mine and one day someone yelled out "Hey Noodles- when's the noodles gonna' be ready??!"

That was about 26 years ago and the name stuck ever since. I'm the captain of my station, so the nickname "Cap'n Noodles" just caught on naturally. When I joined the SBG forum, my screen name was a no-brainer!

- Cap'n Noodles -

Also, being sort of a novice cartoonist, I, over the years, have made cartoon characters out of the guys, and whenever a "classic" moment occurs- it usually gets immortalized forever in a cartoon collection of mine called "Noodles Doodles".

Mine used to be Baldoug - a blend of Bald and Doug. Then I added an extra "d" for a more grammatically correct BaldDoug.  :*)) Then I dropped the Bald part as it wasn't currently accurate. I tired to get "Doug", but apparently someone else had already taken it, hence "|Doug|"
Life has three aspects: Paradox, Humor, and Change.

Paradox: Life is a mystery; don't waste time figuring it out.
Humor: Keep a sense of humor, especially about yourself. It is a strength beyond all measure
Change: Know that nothing stays the same.

A hammerdrill is something I used for years when preparing houses for termite treatments. 376 is part of a former address of mine.

Some of my other hobbies (besides barbershop quartet singing) are yarn crafts and photography.  Basically your average artsy-fartsy guy here, though prefer the term "crafty".  Not only is craftyguy a username I've been using in other forums for a few years, "crafty" tends to go well semantically with "sly" - so there ya go.
