Being Sly, Being Green

          Heres one good recycling point....I see this all the time while out and about working....
   And thats people driving around in there ratty old pickup trucks collecting scrap metal...
   They spend there days driving up and down every alley looking through garbage cans and recycling bins and if its metal they take it...Many times on construction sites they ask too look through the dumpsters and of course i say YES--they take usually old wiring- copper -and whatever is metal........I know for a fact they take this stuff directly too the recycling plant and get payed well for it.....
       On somewhat of a downside it is against the law too take recyclables set on the curb for the county and they do steal metal in the middle of the night from yards businesses and of course stripping copper from abandoned or foreclosed homes...( huge problem in Minnesota ).........

There isn't much smog here in the SF Bay Area because we get the winds off of the ocean.  Though, it could be a bit more than where most people live due to us having the mountains to trap it in.
