Self Acceptance

Yes I've shaved my head.

I know for years I've had a full head and didn't have MPB.  Plus, I knew that people liked how my hair looked.

But I decided to shave my head for me.  I tried a buzz cut to be "accomodating", but to accomodate would be to compromise what I want-a habit I must avoid.  So, I took it to the max and shaved it.

My shaving my head asserts my self-control.  It tells others that I am comfortable with my masculinity and don't need flowing locks to prove it.  It says that I am willing to bare myself and I have nothing to hide.

My bald head says that I don't care what others think, I am me-take for who I am not what others want me to be.  They can hate it, or find it sexy-I really don't care.  I LOVE IT and that what matters.

Oh by the way, if you're of the opinion that I should grow my hair back, as my mother would say, "Don't Hold Your Breath".  I plan to stay bald as long as I have a head.  Better yet, why don't you shave your head as well?  May do you good!
