Hey, whoever told us that those little arrows actually did something!!!

About 15 years ago when I was first getting started in IT I took a temp job that involved writing end-user documentation for a small database system developed in Lotus Notes. I took screen shots and made comments about the various parts of the interface, including how to expand or collapse a section by clicking on those triangles. (I think Lotus Notes called them "Twisties" or something like that. I can't remember the Apple/Macintosh name for them, where I think they originated. Windows used plus and minus for the same thing at the time.)

I remember my boss (the non-technical visionary in charge of the project) running up to me and saying "I'm so glad I read your documentation, MikeM! I never knew those triangles did anything. I thought they were just there for decoration."

ROFL....that is too funny MikeM!! I know in hindsight that I should have recognized those little "triangles" for what they were but some how it just slipped on by!!

I hope you know I was kidding Gary, believe me I'm far from tech savvy myself, lol.   :)
