This is the second mention of a winter Convention..... but I have to say that I think Summer is better for several reasons.
1) The guys that have kids in school would find it very tough to accomodate that.
2) Travel could be bad for many in the winter months.
I vote for Summer personally.
Nothing against anyone else....just my preference.

Good points - but the popularity of these get-togethers is growing and I think both a summer slybaldcon in the north and a winter one in a warmer climate would work well.
I have a job that keeps me way too busy to take time off in the summer months and folks up here are always looking for an excuse to escape our below zero temps. As for winter driving, there are usually flights to LV that are as cheap if not cheaper than driving.
Just my thoughts..... O:O
