I went to a party last night and saw a bunch of people I'd not seen in many, many years (20 and 30 years for some). I was a little on-guard about showing up sly with these guys as some are pretty blunt and could be wise a$$es.
Upon walking through the door and seeing the guy I expected the worst from, I noticed he had aged a real lot and had a comb-over. I couldn't believe my eyes. He was the guy that had all the hot girls fighting over him, when we young. Additionally, his brother was balding quite a bit in front and kept it shorter. This guy mentioned to me that every day he considers shaving it down all the way and I encouraged him throughout the evening to go for it.
The comb-over dude, though, was very quiet about the subject. He's a very nice guy but always spoke his feelings openly even if boarder-line insulting people. I almost made a comment about the comb-over but decided to rise above as I'm sure he's greatly bothered by his MPB, as he chose not to participate in the conversation about shaving it all off. But man did that comb-over look silly.
So, I arrived being a little concerned about showing up sly, yet in the end, felt like I was the one that felt good about my sly head and they both seemed envious. We exchanged email addresses and I intend to start working on one of the brothers who seems to want to shave but just can't get himself to do it. We all know how that is ....
As for the other brother, Mr former ladies man, that damn comb-over has to go. Perhaps I'll get one brother to go sly first and then have him work on his comb-over brother ....
