Hey dude,

I am pretty similar, nearly 22 years old, from UK, had trouble coming to grips with mother natures wrath!!

I did the same as your planning, buzzed it down to a 1, then no gaurd, then a beard trimmer (got it a little shorter) but I knew I was only going to end up one way and one way only.....razored!!!

Losing your hair young does suck and it seems to be much less common for a young guy to be shaved in the UK, but is that a bad thing??

I got loads of confidence back since shaving my head!! Once graduation is done, try it, whats the worst that can happen!

Hi

I have as of about 2 weeks ago been sly. I am only 23 (UK also) and the hairs have been going for the last 2-3 years. I had buzzed it down for a couple of months prior to shaving. I would imagine that it would be a bit of a shock to one day completely shave it, however buzzing it down didn't really make me feel better about the hair loss as it was still very apparent that my hair was thinning/receding, so shaving it probably has the advantage that you will quickly gain confidence with what is going to be a much better look in terms of making you appear younger and more stylish. Though I guess neither approach is wrong in the respect that you will likely shave it at some point and experience if it is for you or not.
