I'm not that hard on the guy, after all--he made a living just being obnoxious.

Yes, he sold a lot of worthless crap in his infomercials, but he was entertaining. I recently watched a show about "pitch men" and he was considered the king of them. Too bad, as he was only 50.

I that he's dead, but he was quite possible the most annoying man on TV. Almost as bad as Vince the ShamWOW guy.
Of, course you have to admire anybody that can make a living being so obnoxious.

Has anyone else noticed that Vince looks like Ryan Seacrest?

Yep! I thought they were related the first time I saw him.

He must have been a "high mileage" individual. Internet reports he was hypertensive--well duh
--and was on strong pain killers for a hip problem. He was scheduled to have hip replacement today. His heart was enlarged according to the report. Just felt ill, went to bed, and woke up dead--"cold and unresponsive" in the language of the report. He was only 50! High blood pressure kills, watch out for it.

I've never even thought of comparing them. One question, though, has Ryan Seacrest been arrested for beating the snot out of a hooker like Vince? What a piece of filth he is. As far as Billy Mays is concerned, it is too bad that someone his age dies, and as obnoxious as his commercials were, there was always a solution... the 'up' button on the remote control.

June is a rough month to be famous... David Carradine, Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Micheal Jackson and now Billy Mays all in ONE month. Just freaky coincidence. I know, lots of people die every day, but that's a LOT of celebrities in less than 30 days.

Dude could be annoying. But give it up to him - he honestly thought he could sell ice to eskimos. How many of us have the same faith in our abilities? I liked the "spoof" on espn where he was under the desk selling espn360 with the various sport balls floating from the internet cable to the computer. Dude did alright for himself I guess.

How do you know that Michael Jackson didn't like Billy Mays?
(Just being difficult...)
