Just a quick little mention Chuck. You said you,"Ran a Mach 3 front to back and then back to front) Many men do two passes like that to help avoid irritation. BUT the point is to shave with the grain and then reshave against the grain. So that would be the opposite of your quote here. You'd run back to front first followed by front to back.
That's it, it could have just been a typo but I wanted to give you your first shaving tip!! -

Actually, I shave front to back and then back to front. I get the best shave that way.
