Well, I just got an email from the Murphy-Goode selection team for a 1/2 hour phone interview. The application process ends this Friday at midnight. They pick the Top 50 candidates from this group and have them do a 500 word essay. From there, the winery narrows it down to the Top 10 for face to face interviews in Wine country for a week. Not too sure what's involved ... but it can't be bad!
While getting to the #1 spot doesn't insure I'm picked for the top 50, any marketing company worth their salt should see there must be something to a guy who can rally 1500+ votes in 2 weeks.
