Humble Pie 30 days
« on: June 11, 2009, 07:25:04 AM »
30 days in the hole...  B@%d
Humble Pie

Today marked the 30th day of my going SLY.  O0

I will admit I do not qualify for the free Harley  :(  because I did skip 2 days during the 30.
Too tired, lazy or running late on those 2 days.

And since I shave in the shower I am not used to showering EVERY day!

Congratulations on surviving the trial period.  So what's the verdict for Day 31 and beyond?

That's great, DogStar Guy. You can have a hall pass once in a while...welcome to the SLY side. You going to keep it slick? Now you can tell others and fencers about the 30-day trial period with some authority!

Yeah I will be keeping it.
Not because it is great or not.
Just because...

My MPB was quite extreme and was really tired of it.

So this is different and I like it well enough.

As previously mentioned somewhere it accentuates my being overweight, and is a bit of added motivation to lose a bunch of fat pounds and put on a few pounds of muscle.

So I am good to go

Eric

Congrats on the 30 days.  Good to hear that you're going to keep it slick.  But...Dude, not showering every day?  Do we need to add that as "Step 1" in the Bald Guys handbook?   :/O

Actually, I do realize that in some colder climates, people don't shower every day.  I live in South Florida and it is mandatory.  Way too hot and sticky here.

I have very dry skin and so much showering is actually detrimental. And most moisturizers are really temporary fixes and do nothing to improve skin long term.

Hey DSGUY.... I'm betting that a better diet may help improve that dry skin condition. Give it a go and see.
