Less expensive shaving products?!
« on: June 04, 2009, 11:34:42 AM »
Product: One Planet Shaving Oil.
Purchased at: Rite Aid drug stores.
Price: Can't quite remember but it was about 6 bucks
Quality in general: Excellent
Scent: Unscented
The specifics: One Planet Shaving Oil is THE best shaving oil that I have tried and I love the stuff!! It's a keeper!
Ingredients: This is a 100% natural product
Ingredients: Grape Seed Oil, Eucalyptus oil and OLIVE OIL!

This is the best oil that I have tried to date. I've tried it many ways but the best is adding a couple of squirts to my HeadSlick. More than noticbly improved my shave. Even shaving with this product is greatly improved by the quality of the products I've observed!

IYO, what makes oil better than gel or cream?

I'm not totally sure that oil is better! I've tried a few different oils on my head and just not that crazy about them. BUT the oil added to something or used as a base, applied before I put on something like HeadSlick.

It's all just a fun game. Trying different products is exciting. I'll pick up something and can't wait till I can shave with it!!

Parksie,

Just remember that most oils go a long way but the directions are usually for doing your face not your head. So if it says use 5 drops, then I'd use 6 or 8 for my head. If you have some decent oil you should be amazed at how well it works.

Or do what I do, just mix up your lather with a few drops of oil in it!!
