That is also an idea, I was talking to a friend about it and they said color fades way too fast.

Not true...... any tattoo will fade with time but there are ways to minimize the fading.
For instance.... after you get done applying that sunblock to your head.... apply some to your tattoos. This will help GREATLY with fading.
Also, go to a good quality shop where they use good quality ink...... the newer inks are made to fade less.

I'm wondering how many color tats those friends of yours actually have...... ;)

No need to believe me.... talk to a good, reputable artist.......

Color or not is just a personal preference. I currently have two tats..... a small piece of flash on one shoulder and then a half sleeve on the other arm. Both are full color and nice and bright.
My third tat is in the works right now.... I've already made the deposit and I'm waiting for my artist to complete the artwork. It will also be full color.

When I get around to finish designing mine, it will be in full blazing glorious color!

Old west is like the old west font, you know like the one on your computer.

About the fading-would I really have to worry about it that much since it would be on my back and would be covered by a shirt most of the time.
