The Matte For Men Complete Head Care Lotion is designed to reduce the appearance of unwanted shine on the head while also protecting it from the sun.

If you're looking for a lotion that will keep you skull from looking dry without making it shine, then this is a good option for you.  The lotion is made for the face and head and contains an SPF of 25, leaving you with more protection than most of the lotions that only offer 15 SPF.  One of the things that I noticed after applying the lotion was that it made my skin feel tight.  The lotion also left a matte finish on my skull reducing the shine that many of the lotions provide.

Overall, this lotion does what it claims to do and I recommend it if you are looking for less shine.  I also recommend it because it provides you with important protection from the sun that you should be applying everyday.

Would this happen to be water proof/resistant?

I don't think so, as it says to apply after excessive perspiration.

Of course most "sweat resistant" products say the same thing.  It still may have some water resistance.

This stuff looks interesting on the web sight, I like the natural products, but $20 a tube, how long does it look like it will last.

The tube is 2.5 oz.  So, that is also a concern of mine that it might not last very long, especially if you're using on your face and head, as you should be.

I ve had my tube for over a month now and I use it almost every day. I dont think $20 a tube is too much if you consider the fact I was using 3 different products to get the same benefits...When I add up the cost of my old mositurizer, a suncreen and the product I used to reduce shine...they added up to over $45!

I can't tell you "how" it works in terms of how it gives you a matte look.  But, I can tell you that it does work well and I recommend it.

I also recommend it Ripped. Makes the dome smooth and tones the shine down.  Plus, its spf 25 which everyone needs.
One note*** I combined this with Bald Guyz moisture gel and it made my head glow in a blacklight. Guessing it was the combination.

I looked on their website and it did mention that the product would react that way under a black light:

"Under almost all situations, the lotion is completely invisble once it has been applied and rubbed in. The exception is when Matte For Men™ Complete Head Care Lotion is exposed to "black light," in which case the product becomes visible. This is caused by one of the organic sunscreens which is absorbing light waves...in essence showing that it is working to protect the skin."

My advice...try it , its great! (but stay way from black light!!!:)

That is hillarious.  Talk about a glowing dome...... I think I'll have to give it a try.
