Razor Gator?
« on: June 23, 2008, 09:29:19 PM »
Hello my SLY Brothers & Sisters. Has anyone ever used one of these?http://www.razor-gator.com/whatis.htm

I received a complimentary one in my latest HeadBlade order and before I try it I wanted to find out if any of you had an opinion on it. If not, I'll go ahead and try it out for the next few weeks and post my findings here on this thread.

Well I tried this thing out for the past 4 weeks and all I can tell you is that I really...

I think it actually dulled the blades quicker.

What one earth is that even supposed to DO? Get gunk out from between your blades? Dull the blades?

According to their website...

RazorGator is the world's first disposable razor cleaning tool. RazorGator® makes razors last.
RazorGator extends the life of your razor while reducing razor burn and rash.
RazorGator unclogs your disposable razor for a smoother shave.

I found that unclogging the razor was about the only thing this contraption did. However, if you rince your razor often while shaving, clogging is greatly reduced. The RazorGator did not make the razor last any longer than normal therefore it did not extend the life of the razor (isn't that the same thing as making it last longer?).

I am afraid of products that claim to make the razor last longer
