Does my crown look thin?
« on: July 13, 2015, 09:52:31 AM »
Sorry to be a pain but does my crown look like it is thin/thinning? The pic was after swimming, I feel like it looks better dry...people say I am crazy because I think I am going bald but I can't help but worry. Even dermatologist says it looks ok. i just need some advice please.

First pic (outside) my hair is wet and the second pic my hair is dry

I don't know, hard to tell with that mop of hair. Go to the nearest barbershop and ask for a crewcut, then post some more photos.😎
Bald by choice, and loving it!

as reddog says, it is a bit hard to really tell in the early stages of balding with a longer hairstyle like you have. My opinion is that it doesn't really look to be thinning, though if it is, it would be in very early stages giving you plenty of time before it would become apparent

Welcome Austin.  Looks like you have nothing to worry about.

If I were you, I'd stop worrying about balding.  You have plenty of hair and no discernible bald spot.

I concur with the gentlemen before me.

I see no sign of a bald spot up there.

I was in the same situation 12 years ago, I thought I was going to lose it all and I started shaving, 12 years later if i grow it out 98 percent will grow back but hair maintenance   was a big concern so keeping a shaved head is a better option for me since I don't have to worry about bad hair days. I had long thick wavy hair.
