not sure if this is the forum or not but here goes nothing..
the last few years I've been losing hair, hairline not receding so much as just a lot of thinning. I've kept it pretty short for a long time until i got all the way down to a bare clipper. wasn't happy at all. some friends could tell my hair was going away but i really noticed it. last week i decided to just go for it and shave. that's actually how i found this forum. since not worrying about how my own head looks not I've noticed a few things. there are a lot of people that should really consider just shaving it all off. comb overs, hats (which i am not a fan of) hair pieces. i guess i just don't get it. i had at some point considered a hair transplant but after seeing the cost and doing some research, it wasn't for me. not to mention all the guys that are not happy at all with the results and end up spending even more money to have scars fixed from them. taking control is always a confidence booster. whatever you decide to do to combat hair loss is up to you. as i said somewhere in my introductory post, life's too short to change the things you have to control over. if you truly need the crutch of a cosmetic procedure to feel confident. maybe there is more going on then just hair. pretty much everyone likes someone with a confident attitude. if your on the fence just do it, shave it. at the very least you will know if you like it or not. if you do great ! if you don't, well not you know and can take the next step for you. but its my experience that its not a big deal.
