Long time lurker
« on: May 24, 2015, 11:31:46 PM »
Gents (and ladies),

Been lurking on and off for a few years. I love being bald, but honestly I have a very weird head shape. I'm not exaggerating when I say that. As you can see in the pics....there is a lot going on. Baldness runs in the family, now at 33 years of age I'm noticing more and more hair falling out. Hairline is receding more. So it begins.

A couple years ago I shaved it all off for a few months and loved it. I honestly didn't care what my head shape looked like. I never had more confidence in my life! I seem to have lost that mojo and am really anxious about the way my bald head looks. I shaved with an electric razor with no guard on. Love the way it feels, don't like the way it looks.

Looking for HONEST feedback.

Thanks,
    Ed

Welcome, Ed! Looks like a normal shaped head with a no guard haircut to me...

Welcome, sir, and thanks for sticking around for the long time lurk.

Looks like you still have a fair amount of stubble in the pictures.  Get the razor out and shave it smooth and the shadow will be less noticeable. As for head shape, it's fine.

If you have previously used a razor blade to shave your hair, you know the nice feel of a smooth head.   If not, it's worth a try. You'll be back to the current stubble look in 3 days, but you won't want to.  The smooth feel is so nice.

Thanks guys!

Mrzed, I really do miss the feeling of a fresh shaved head. May officially give the 30 day challenge a go.

Hi Ed:  Welcome to the sly fraternity.  Glad that you joined us.  You look like a natural.  I cannot imagine you with hair.  Keep us posted when you "take the plunge" with a razor.

Thanks for joining and coming out of lurkdom.

Welcome Ed, I would definitely consider shaving, can only improve what is already a great look for you.
First started shaving my head on the 9th October 2014
