Well here goes nothing
« on: May 21, 2015, 07:53:57 PM »
new guy here, came across the sight while searching for some tips and products to keep my scalp clear. It has been a long time coming, baldness runs in the family. i started to notice my hair thinning a few years ago, i hated it. since them my clippers have been getting shorter and shorter, until the other day. finally decided to just go for it. and i gotta say i do not think I'm going to go back. I like it, first and foremost. one less thing to worry about! everyone else seems to like it as well.

with "hair" don't mind the sign i was waiting for it to show back up, it never did lol

Just went sly myself..Not thinning or balding (Yet), but giving it a try.

I think you rock it well, and the facial hair compliments it!

I was just about to comment on you great looking mustache in the first photo and suggest you grow it back.  IMO, big beards and mustaches go great with a sly dome.

i think i may have to grow it back. but being a mechanic in the summer time doesnt tend to do well to keep ones mustache in check, in the heat. it was petty epic tho.. once the summer is over it shall make a comeback

I wish I could grow facial hair that nice, but sadly I cannot! It looks great on you though!

I hope you enjoy being sly!

Titus and Nailed, you both look good with your shiny heads.

Titus, you look pretty young.  Facial hair sometimes does not come in well until closer to 30 for some guys.  Give it time.

Nailed, my car mechanic should shave his head.

Nailed, welcome.  You look great shaved, and you also look like you know you look good shaved, which is pretty awesome!

Thanks guys! I've always had some confidence about myself. I think that's a big part to making any style work. Hair or not. I hurt my neck pretty bad a few years ago, fractured c1. Gotta tell Ya that wasn't fun. However all is well. However that experience gave me some perspective. Life's too short to worry about things I have no control over. Hair or no hair life's too much fun to be down about what's on your head, or lack their of. Have a good day guys. I'm going to go party with movie stars hahaha

Great attitude. I started the same way with the clippers until I was finally shaving with a razor. Enjoy your slyness!
