« on: April 18, 2015, 11:20:52 AM »
Hey guys, I thought I posted this a while back but as being a barber here on the forum I would like to be the go to guy for tips and advice. I'm always open for any questions about clippers, razors, how to jump the fence on going sly, shaving, etc. Feel free to leave your questions below, send me a personal message, email me: derrisf@gmail.com Looking forward to hearing back from you guys thanks! Hope y'all had a good Easter!

Hi Derris,

You are the guy that helped me go sly.

Currently I use the Wahl Balding Clippers, followed by Wahl detailer.

My balding clipper don't seem to cut as sharp. I did sharpen them 6 months ago with a sharpening stone
But not sure if I did them too well.

Would you suggest sharpening or just changing the blade?

I must of had them for a year and half!

Sometimes use a Panasonic ES-RF31-S, but that's mainly for the hot summer months  O0

I just ordered a pair of the Wahl Balding clippers. Ive never liked electric razors but I like the way the head looks when the hair stubbles in so I thought the electric would be a good way to achieve that look

I'm glad I'm helping you guys out! EN4CER buddy I hope all has been well. I wish you could mail those balding clippers to me so I can fix them for you. But have you looked into the Wahl 5-Star Shaver? That's a good one too. Matt bud you made a good purchase but I must warn you that those blades are SHARP, would it be possible for us to Skype when you get them so I can help you adjust them? Thanks!

Hi Derris, when you say fix them, do you mean sharpen them?

Would you suggest sharpening or just changing the blade?
