Hi,
So I bumped into my first head shaving problem. I don't know how they are called in english and can't really explain it. I made some pictures and maybe you can help me on what to do about them.
Basically, I had them before I shaved my hair (pretty sure about it) and even then I was a bit scared on shaving there as I could cut them off and bleeding would follow etc.. Today I did cut them while shawing.. Didn't bleed much and stopped really quick. Still I would like to get rid of them so I could get a much cleaner shave.
I attached few pictures (they might be disgusting feel free to not see them).
P.S. You might have to zoom in to see.
P.S.S. I might have not chosen the right category for this so please move it if necessary.

we all had this. your skin will get used to it, and they will stop appear. don't let yourself down because of this.
Paul,
It looks like scalp folliculitis
Its a condition that beginner shavers get due to inflammation of the scalp. Keep in mind that your head is having an "O sh*t" moment as it adjusts. As you continue to shave this should go down on its own. At a worst case due to the bump not being discolored you might have a skin tag or clogged pore which can be treated by a dermatologist.

OMG... Googled "scalp folliculitis" and checked pictures... Very scary...
Got 3 of those on my head :/ I guess I will make an appointment with dermatologist. Just to check things out. I really want clean shave and these things destroy the whole look.
Damn I googled it aswell, not for the faint hearted. Poor buggers
Trac3: 1st of all welcome 2 the sly fraternity. Glad that ya joined us. Definitely... get an appointment with a dermatologist asap. In the mean time... wash your head with a facial wash such as Nivea For Men Facial Wash or Neutrogenia brand. Apply witch hazel than let air dry. Apply Hydrocortisone 10 Lotion liberally on your dome. This should help decrease the red bumps. Keep us posted.

If you cannot find the Hydrocoritisone 10 Lotion... try the cream. The lotion is better and acts quicker.

I guess most of you are from US. I have to order most of the stuff you talk about in forum in the internet. Maybe you can suggest where to buy that stuff that ships to Latvia (Europe)?
I will have to check head/skin care category, maybe I will find some good answers already.

So far everything is going great with my new look

Of course except this problem.
Witch hazel and hydrocortisone 10 is a universal product. It should be at any local drug store or grocery store. The witch hazel should be next to the rubbing alcohol and the hydrocotisone 10 should be next to the neoporin or triple anti-biotic lotion.

As universal as they might be there is another problem.. People in my country don't normally speak english well.. Had this problem before in a drug store took me about an hour (with other people to purchase there stuff) to get what I want when i only new somewhat on what it was doing and the english name..
Anyway will hit a drug store and dermatologist tomorrow and see what is what
Good luck, Trac...Two things to remember...Whatever you do, don't pick at the sores with your bare hands as the dirt could clog the pores and make it even worse. Second, try not to overshave the area, give it a day or two to heal...BTW,shaving your head is the best cure for follucitis. Keep us posted!
It will be removed with laser.. Sadly it costs a lot..

Appointment 20$ + 40$ per one thing to remove.. I hope it will be worth it
