Grow trim or shave
« on: February 12, 2017, 03:45:06 PM »
I had a trim back at the end of November, around the sides but minimal on the chin.  Since then I haven't done anything.  I have been wondering if I should grow, trim or shave the beard? Bearing in mind my chin hasn't been naked in over 4 years and the longer beard preceded going sly. So, I have no idea what I would look like trimmed or shaved with a sly dome.  It just struck me that this message is the opposite of the ones we often see as the head is sly but the chin is not, although it's also not receeeding

A full beard always works with a bald/shaved head, although I would recommend a trim.

I vote for grow. I am really a fan of sly with a big beard.

It's really what you prefer.  I have usually kept my beard reasonably trimmed as I find it more comfortable playing tennis /gym and a longer beard on me looks rather unkempt.  Yours looks good at its current length.  What ever you do don't get rid of it.

I think it looks fine as it is.
