1/16 buzz
« on: August 16, 2016, 07:13:03 PM »
I went with the 1/16 inch guard on the clippers the other day, so I'm pretty close now. Can really see my head shape. The dome even shines a little! Thoughts?

Looks great.  Now having gone so short, why not just shave it altogether?  Won't look much different but it feels amazing - and it will grow back to its current length in 3-4 days.  Nothing to lose - go for it!

Your doing what many members did a little at a time. But until you shave it all ,will you know what you like best.

I'll just point out that as far as 99% of the population is concerned, you are now completely bald. No one will notice the difference between the cut you have now and a complete shave. There is no reason not to shave. Worst case scenario is that you have to wait a couple of days for it to grow back to 1/16".

So get to it.  You will thank us later.

I'm gonna echo the others guys here and say definitely try a razor shave now that you're already almost there.

Take the razor. A shiny bald head combined with your beard will suit you.

Stretch out the process!  (LOL).  Take the guard off and buzz your head again. You can do one step closer to shaved than 1/16th.

But I will have to agree with all of the comments here. The visual difference between no guard and shaved head is really nothing.  But the FEEL is what will sell you on shaving your head regularly.  Once you experience the shaved head (30 day rule), You'll never want to go back to hair again.
