« on: November 29, 2016, 03:13:14 AM »
Hello,

First of all wanna say I'm Portuguese, so English is not my first language and sorry about any mistakes.

Finally go Sly, after years of loosing hair, many buzzcuts down to no guard, hours of research on internet trough videos and reading find the SlyBald Guys Forum.

You guys give a example with your stories and confidence to go Sly.

And i say why i spend so much time without shave my head smooth.

Will post photos on my 30 days rule.

Here go photos before and after:

Thanks Guys.

Welcome to the board!

Sly looks great on you....but why didn't you keep the goatee? Nonetheless,  you wear sly well. Congratulations.

Welcome! Your bald look is way better in my opinion! The beard looks great, maybe try it out with the bald head? A beard looks really good with a shaved head - and you have a great beard for it!

Happy for you man, looking great

I agree, you look much younger SLY.

Also agree that the beard will look good with the shaved  head!

Looks like a good choice.

Excellent move.  I'm biased but let the beard grow back for a great combination.

Welcome to SBG! It does look great and it's amazing how much younger it makes you look. I think you'll enjoy the beard with the bald head.

What part of Portugal do you live in? My grandfather is from the Azores.

Hello,

Thank for all the compliments, feels great have a shave head and better with yours encourage.

Situation on Shaved Journey, Day 2:

Shaved with a Headblade Sport, really need experience to use so finished with Gillette fusion.

Also shaved against the grain, since i had sensitive skin i get surprise by don't have any problems than usual. Had a previously pimples scare are healing but the shave don't make any problems to make this situation worst.

Discoverer I'm not a cream shave guy, already order a Headblade gel from a a website in London.

Scape the face shave and started grow my beard again, post a photo when its full grow.

Definitely shaving the head its a learning process, i tried to find my away to be more comfortable.

Sometimes beginners think its easy when we see the videos on youtube.

@Tyler I'm live close to Coimbra on centre of Portugal, its cool you have a little of Portuguese blood :)

About ten years ago I visited Portugal and also Spain (Camino).  I really liked the Duoro valley and Oporto, visited Coimbra (traffic very fierce) and remember a wonderful fish dinner with lots of fresh white wine at Nazare.  The trip also included Cascais, Estoril, Lisbon, Setubal and Evora.  Wonderful memories.  Don't remember many shaved heads then.
