I was sent this link to Applebee's from a fellow Marine. Check it out and enjoy a Veteran's Day treat. It's nice to see a major chain recognize the service of veterans

I believe some other chains give free meals.
I plan on checking out Texas Roadhouse, Golden Coral, and Applebee's.
Outback can keep their "free bloom'n onion".

Just had Texas Roadhouse...and they didn't skimp.
I can eat A LOT...but may not be able to take advantage of any of the dinners going on.
I attempt to do Chili's or Olive Garden later.
I love Applebees...they set the bench mark of social responsibility for this day. Time to digest some inventory from their competitors.

We are headed for The Olive Garden later.

Hummm, I may have to shave my gourd and split for Applebeezzz. O0

There was hardly any crowd at The Olive Garden tonight.
While I was dining, the manager came up and asked, "Are you THE Veteran?"
After confirming it, she handed me a gift certificate for $10 toward my next visit.
Dinner was pretty good to...limited menu...but still pretty good. O0
