You can see my hair in my avatar pic from about 6 months ago. Finally plucked up courage to shave. Even raised some money for Macmillan Cancer support in the process:

Looks good. You might consider growing back the beard you had in an earlier photo. Many of us here like the combination

I agree, some type of facial hair will look good just keep it neat. that being said I think either way the shaved look works for you brotha.
