I've been fighting a losing battle with this mustache, which is determined to curl up into a handlebarrish style.

Hey Razor... how are things going with the beard/stache? You letting things grow?

No, I got frustrated with it and trimmed it back a bit

Update time!

New barber. 40 minute bus ride, 90 minute wait, worth every minute!

Dober, that is an immaculate looking trim.  Does is still look that neat a few days after the trim?

I'll say ahead of time that I haven't shaved my head yet today and my beard is in need of a minor trim but here ya go!  This is a 4.5 month beard for me with some trims every few weeks

Even with the head not shaved, the beard blends in well!

Yes, even a couple of weeks out, looks amazing. Am not doing the handlebars all the time, big PITA!

Man, Dober, I can only wish mine could get that kind of shape!

And PITA or not, that handlebar is excellent!

Napkins are a permanent feature these days. Frothy beer can be 'fun'.

Seeing as I get far more comments about the beard and 'tache than the shiny bald head,  it's all worthwhile !

Bottled beer was designed for guys with mustaches in mind O0
I eat a lot of burritos and generally keep my mustache untrimmed until it makes eating too difficult then I cut it back a bit.

I learned a few years ago that a bigger mustache works better with a beard than a short one, but long mustaches   make life difficult.  At some point function wins out over form with me.

I like the results of Sir Harry's and Cave Dweller's new longer beards, and Zetaeffe's yeard is looking great.  You guys are going outside your norm into uncharted territory so just remember that once you truly get beyond a length you like you can always trim back to what you have now instead of taking it all off.  I think it's important to keep that in mind since I see a lot of guys going longer beards that they profess to love, get beyond a certain point, and then buzz it all back down to the length they had kept prior to trying out a longer length.

DoberDaddy's has clearly recovered and proves that a big beard can look perfectly groomed  O0

SlyCatCrossing that's one fine beard you brought to the table!  Keep it up!

Scientific proof that my shaved head is hotter than my beard  :o

I like how the blue part of the section where I keep my beard tucked up.

I decided since it was summer to trim up the beard, and try out the tailback style.
