Welcome to the forum Diva. Congrats on your birthday and shaving. Seems you have more b@lls than many of the guys who come in here wringing their hands and clinging to their fake hair.  Good to have you and enjoy the smooth dome! O0

Welcome, Diva!  It's good to have another sly gal join.  Hopefully, some of our others will come back too.

Welcome!  I've grown my hair out a bit at this point (I like changing my appearance in general) but everyone here was/is very welcoming to us ladies.   I shaved my head last year because I felt like it, was in the process of moving from my home of 8 years after a divorce, and it was a fun experience.

I've not been around much at all lately but I have been moving countries, buying my first house and trying to move into it from 3 locations where my belongings resided plus doing a merge/purge with hub, having surgery (minor but doctor-visit-heavy as it involved a few specialties), looking for new jobs, and about a million other things.

I met my husband on here, so it is a very special place to me, and I do check in every once in a while but rarely chime in these days just because, well, chaos.

Hope you enjoy it here :)

I'm sure my mom would be envious of all you Sly lades she has always wanted super short hair but can't because my dad hates short hair on woman so she settles for shoulder length

Edit: Sorry I didn't notice that this was an old thread, but then again, I don't lurk here that often.  :-\

You're lovely!  And I'm jealous.  I used to shave my head but have grown it out to below my shoulders because people in the Midwest are not quite as liberal as people in NYC.

It always makes me feel kinda sad when a woman wants really short hair and she's held back by a man who has so many privileges he doesn't even recognize! For example, men can go topless outdoors without a second thought on a hot day (we women get arrested), men don't have to shave anything if they don't want to and can still appear socially appropriate (do men realize how much work it is to shave our legs and keep them stubble-free?)...the list goes on and on.

I guess I feel more and more like "if my (hypothetical) man doesn't like my body in whatever state it's in, he's going to have to deal." Otherwise, women should have the same right to tell their SO's what they want them to look like down to every last detail and men should feel obligated to fulfill their wishes....and not too many men are going to want to play that game!

Makes me feel like I'm more and more happy to stay single even in my mid-30's.
