Shaving cream help
« on: May 19, 2017, 10:50:36 PM »
So here is my dilemma.
I love Headslick.  It's slickness is awesome, but there's no cushion. The blades glide but I can still (rather uncomfortably) feel them on my head. And I'm not even pressing. I want to use something with more cushion but without sacrificing slickness.  I find that for me slickness is critical for a head shave, whereas it's not as critical for face shaving. Any recommendations?

I use Cremo or Irish Spring soap. I think you will always feel the blade to some extent when removing hair. I use a safety razor and know I have the correct angle by the sound.
Bald by choice, and loving it!

The blade has to touch the skin, so I can't understand the term cushion some use in shaving. Lubricant yes that makes sense , but thick lather looks and feels good but I doubt it makes any difference. Just my personal opinion and 55 year of shaving.
