OK to mix products?
« on: January 29, 2012, 11:25:17 AM »
The sunscreen that I use now is SPF 45.  It doesn't give my head the shine that I like.  After this dries is it OK to apply aloe gel over it for the shine...or does diluting the suncreen lessen its protection?

Should be just fine. Many sunscreens do give a good shine though.  8)

That’s a good question.  I would also like to know if mixing sun screen with other products affects the properties of the SPF.

I know one thing about sun screen though, you must apply sun screen at least a half hour before going into the sun, not while you are already in the sun.
