Here's my beard at 15 months.  My noggin is now fully slick again after finding how much head hair Mother Nature naturally took away!

Nice! I went SLY again... now just need to grow back the beard!!!

Dober, my beard went into mourning when you cut yours off! HaHa!  Your beard was great!  The bald/beard combo really worked for you!  I am guessing you got some regret going on cutting it off?  Anyway, I know you can get back to the same bearded awesomeness that you had before and could easily exceed that!  But either way, do what makes you comfortable and happy!

I'm calling this the Epic Beard Again.....Santa Update!  So here are pictures of me as Santa and also getting in the Christmas Spirit.  I should say that I serve once a month at a local food bank so I now serve as their Santa.  Also on Black Friday, I was at Seattle's Pacific Place Mall and was approached by an attendant for the mall Santa kiosk about being a Santa.  I work full time at Boeing, so I am sure  that my lack of availability probably killed those chances.  But they also did the mall Santa operations at Alderwood Mall and Westwood Village Mall, locally.  I was flattered that I got asked.  But a friend who is an engineer at Boeing told me that I probably need to talk to HR before I ever said yes to doing a paid Santa gig!  So I will ask  for next year!

I should also mention that I am almost at my 18th month mark in terms of not trimming the bottom, other than stragglers.  It was at that point the last time where I did a major trim.   At this point, I am very comfortable with being a bald long bearded guy.  I think this is my signature look.  Besides I am digging looking like Santa and want to keep that look all year long....except for the tummy!

Great looking Santa , but why would you have to get permission to play the part ?

I know that for the engineers, which I am not, there is a moonlighting rule.  Not sure there would be a problem playing Santa for pay.  But I know they are absolutely cool with volunteerism of the nature that I did!

Looks great, Marsh.  I am sure Boeing would not have an issues of you being Santa, but I would advise them of you intent just in case.  The Engineer rule at most companies is to make sure the Engineers do not moonlight for a competitor or in any way let out any trade secrets or designs.  So Santa would likely be approved.  I do not think they would be concerned about you explaining Boeing trade secrets to the kids.

:DOk, here is my beard at 19 months!  This is the longest I have ever grown it!  But I am getting impatient for the beard to "drop".

BTW....I know the image thumbnail is showing sideways.  If you click on it, it should be right side up!

No worries....while I am impatient, I love having a long beard!  I was very impressed with the long beard you had.  I want to go that long and longer and keep it that way.  As long as my employment situation is the same, I really would like to keep the long beard as my permanent look!
