Celebrating My First Baldiversary (30 day grad)
« on: October 19, 2016, 07:32:49 PM »
So it was a year ago last month that I started going sly full time. I wanted to post in the hopes I will get some lurkers get off the fence.

I went from worrying about shine through hair, to trying to figure out how to get my head to shine more.

I went from worrying about haircuts making me look more bald, to shaving twice a day if I go out at night to make sure I don't have a shadow.

I went from being anxious to friends pointing out I was balding to being the "bald guy" at work, with friends, and loving that title.

This summer a fellow sly guy at a party even recruited me to try to get a guy with a faltering buzz cut to go sly.

Just do it guys! You stand to lose maybe 15 minutes in the morning, you will stop cutting yourself, and you will look like a boss.

Sincerely,

A proud bald dude and 30 day alum

If only I could figure out how to get rid of the hair that still comes back...

A great summary of your first year and here's to many more.  Hopefully will encourage a few waverers to take the plunge.

Congratulations on one year!

I don't think alot of people understand that us guys that shave our heads actually love being bald. We might be a small group, but I think is growing and here to stay.
Bald by choice, and loving it!

Reminds me of the 'mybaldlawyer.com' as seen on a billboard in Atlanta!

Congratulations.

Good to have you here.

Congrats!
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.
