well I must reply to this post as I signed up not to long ago close to 3 months ago.. and I actually left my hair grow back afer an incident..
My wife as always told me she likes me better with hair.. I kept asking her.. should I let it grow. she always replied back by saying ... I love you no matter what other may say, think, or judge you.. I maried you for the man you are .. and if shaving your head is what makes you feel happy or better.. then do it..

I've been shaving for 8 years now.. but with a few times that I let it grow back.. but it doesn't last long..

My wife and I have been married for just over 25 yrs now, been together about 27 as we met as friends and then became lovers.  I had a full head of hair and beard when she met me and so on and at the time I did a lot of UC work and needed to fit in with the eliment that I was after.

I have always loved her long hair, but when she asked about cutting it shorter, I whole heart agreed and said, "It is your head and you have to feel your best"  and so I have never stated your hair I think looks crappy since you don't comment that way about a woman's weight or hair.  She has stated that she does not like the goatee I had, for obvious reasons of rash etc...  ::) So I have kept my face clean and she keeps me very happy  :@`

But when I shaved my head, she did state that she don't like it so well... hence the wide brimmed summer hat picture that she didn't think I would let her take and me post all over the internet with  :*))  small price to pay for my choice of being happy with my Sly look.  I have to be the one happy with me, and what feels good to me in my choice.  And every day when I get up, I make that choice to shave my head, face and body, as I do every night as well.

Am I obsessed with smoothness and the Total Sly Bald Guy look.... damm straight I am, and its my choice not hers.

Think he meant millimeters
