That looks great and the island that you refer to is not noticeable at all.  The main  thing is that you are happy with how you look and and are not worried about how your hair looks all the time. You should find the buzz liberating.  Twice a week should be fine and you can se the same clippers for head and face.

The "one day growth" stubble on both head and face is a tough one to pull off for some due to head shape but not you sly brotha, rock it!
