Sports Requiring Helmets

Well, I have participated in extreme sports since before the X Generation was born and one advantage to having a shaved head is it is easier to put on and take off a helmet.....plus I can wear a helmet that is fitted a little better because I don't have to compensate for the hair.
God thinned me out on the crown and in the front so I started shaving my head several years ago before it started being popular again. I do like having it shaved smooth when I am going to be taking my helmet off and on alot during a session.
(Note: I compete in slalom and downhill skateboarding races all over the country and during a race you make several runs that have time between them so your helmet can go on and off multiple times throughout the event.)

Yup, I agree, it is a lot easier getting a helmet on and off. I ride a motorcycle and with a shaved head, the helmet just slips right on. And no helmet head!!
