Martial Arts/Yoga
« on: October 07, 2006, 12:03:37 AM »
This cut was designed for these types of physical activities.  I do MMA and workout almost everyday.  I'm so excited to not have to worry about my hair while working out.

And the stripper rub... but that's been well covered.

I'm a Defensive Tactics Instructor and former MMA fighter as well. (plus 8 years wrestling while growing up in Iowa) I loved no hair to be grabbed as I got older.  ;)

Iowa wrestling?  Dude, you need to promise to be on my side for any future altercations.  jk.   But seriously, being bald just makes training easier.  Mainly, it's easier to escape chokes.  And just the convenience of it all.  It's definitely an advantage!  Good to see another MMA fan/practitioner on here. :D

It is way easier to participate in Yoga and meditation without the irritation of hair. it is also way more centering knowing that being bald is the human at their purest form. or at least thats what i think.

I like that way of thinking switch...  "We are Luminous Beings, not this crude matter."  Sorry, had to quote my favorite movie franchise. hehehe  <---- Huge Star Wars Geek and grinder of 3 Jedi's (1 in each system in SWG) lol
