Welcome C..W... headblade makes a good one. it is headlube it comes in glossy and matte finishes. i prefer the matte personally. but give them a shot and let us know what you think. there are probably other topics that would have the answer for you too. so just checkout the topic board and jump in on any thread. everyone here will be glad to help. enjoy.

Welcome Chaddiewaddie!  Congrats on the headshave and becoming Sly!

As Paul said, Headlube is a great product.  You can also use Lubriderm or I use a brand called Tolsom (http://www.shoptandm.com that my wife and I sell.  I've found that that Headlube and Tolsom give me the best shine.

A warm welcome from me too. Glad you joined us.

I'm using Johnson's Baby Oil to keep my head lubricated and shiny. I admit, there are
better products out there as far as the shine is concerned. But baby oil is really great
in the lubrication department. I also use it as a shaving oil.

You might find my review interesting. Check it out:

Welcome to slybaldguys, chaddiewaddie!  Yeah I conjure all the messages below will work.  I personally use HeadLube imediately out of the shower (where I shave my dome) and it does well for me.

Welcome to Sly Bald Guys and Congrats!

The most important thing about lotion is your skin type.

If you have sensitive skin, try a little on your neck before applying it to your whole head. If it is OK then go for it.

If you have very dry skin, do not apply a lot of lotion becuase it will be absorbed by your pores too fast and will cause acne. Rather, put a little on throughout the day.

Think we should change his ID to "Dr. Noner"?

Yeah but then you need a disclaimer, like "He's not a real doctor, but he would like to play one on TV"

Well, DJ Hypah, Rob already covered the info to combat the razor bumbs with those other topics.  So I can offer a warm welcome to the group and congrats on taking the razor to the dome!
