I started out in the Air Force in 1979 as a Security Policeman. Japan, Phillipines, Korea. Then I did something unheard of and went into the U. S. Army.
.....the quiet brightness of the city disconcerts. Somewhere malfeasance percolates. There is work to be done.

Yeah, I sort of did the same thing- I did 6+ years in the Air Guard took a year off and then went in the Army Guard for a bit, followed by a decade in the Army and then the Reserves.  I kind of bounced around a bit.   O0

I was in the U.S. Army for 3 years, from August, 1966 until August, 1969. I went to Ft. LEionard Wood, Missouri for Basic and Advanced Individual Training.

I spent 1 year in South Vietnam with the 459th Signal Battalion, which was part of the 1st Signal Brigade. We have had 2 reunions since then and had a blast.  At the last reunion I saw 3 good friends that I hadn't seen in 41 years. Awesome!

Have also had several reunions with the 1st Signal Brigade. It was great to hook up again with some old friends.

I spent my last 18 months at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky.

God Bless all Veterans now serving or who have served in the past. Thanks for your service.
